The command that resonates throughout all of scripture is this, "Be fruitful and multiple and fill the Earth. Granted, it is phrased differntly"
But, the message is the same. From Adam and Eve, to Noah, through the establishment of the promise land, the Great Commission, and through Acts.
So today, we build churches and focus on our own. But, God's greatest commandment, throughout the entire store, is to fill the Earth with His image.

The prophet Jeremiah lived during the devastating time of the collapse of Jerusalem and the final capture of Judah by King Nebuchadnezzar
and the Babylonians. In chapter 18 of Jeremiah’s prophecy, God chose to compare Himself to a lowly potter and His people as the unformed
clay pot in His hand. Throughout this book, we hear echoes from the past that relate to today. Did Jeremiah write these things down for us

Advent 2022 SERMONS:
I am a Music Director for a Presbyterian Church in Prosper, TX. Based on some circumstances, I will be preaching the sermon for the four Sundays of this year's Advent season. As you may know, I do not celebrate the Advent and Christmas season; however, I do work hard to help churches focus on Biblical principles that are often associated with this season. The four sermons below are a series that I wrote and delivered to outline the topics of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. These are the four themes of the weeks of Advent traditionally taught by both Catholic and Protestant denominations. As you listen to these sermons, remember that the real meaning behind why the church established the Advent season was to give an example of Duality of the life of Jesus and His second coming. Advent remembers the events of the life of Jesus and His birth while remembering the future event of His second coming. The concept of seeing the actions of Jesus as a historical event and seeing the actions of Jesus as a future event can be a hard concept to grasp.
  • Hope For The Future As It Was In The Past (Prosper Presby) (MP3) Nov 27, 2022 (27 min)
Traditionally, the first week of Advent focuses on Hope. This sermon focuses on how Hope was found through the birth, life, death, and resurrection of
our Savior Jesus. We must place our Hope in His second coming and not try to focus on how we would do things ourselves. God's plan is perfect.

  • Finding Peace in Him (Prosper Presby) (MP3) Dec 4, 2022 (26 min)
Traditionally, the second week of Advent focuses on Peace. Jesus came to show us what Peace is and what it looks like through His life on Earth, but
He did not leave the world with Peace. The world is in a state of chaos because it chooses not to follow Him or look to Him for true Peace. He will
peace once and for all at His second coming.

  • Joy to the World, The Lord is/will Come (Prosper Presby) (MP3) Dec 11, 2022 (26 min)
Traditionally, the third week of Advent focuses on Joy. Joy can be found wherever a person is willing to find it, because it comes from Jesus.
When we look to Him, we see the world through this lens and realize that He is our Joy. Jesus reveals this to us in the fallen world and allows
us to choose whether we will find Joy in Him, or look to the world around us for the imitation of Joy.

  • Love, Love, Love - Eros, Philia, Agape (Prosper Presby) (MP3) Jan 1, 2023 (21 min)
Traditionally, the fourth and final week of Advent focuses on Love. Love is found throughout Old and New Testament Scriptures.
However, Love is a tricky word, made even more complex by it's different versions in both Greek and Hebrew.
Jesus shows us love in all forms, we need to remember that we throw around the word Love in English and it may not mean what we think it does.
